Adventures of a Student Teacher
For my last semester as a student at Carthage College, I will be spending my time in two different classrooms student teaching. My majors are Elementary Education and Cross Categorical Special Education and I am so excited to see what I learn these next 18 weeks and share it with all of you!
First Placement:
For my first placement, I am at Kenosha School of Technology Enhanced Curriculum, East Campus (KTEC East). I am in a second grade classroom with Mrs. Palmer. KTEC is a STEM Charter school, with around 22 students per classroom.
Second Placement:
For my second placement, I am at Mahone Middle School. I will be working with the Cross Categorical Teacher for the Liberty House, Mrs. Verborg. I have never worked with students in this school before, so it will be a new experience! I am very excited to work with my 13 students!
